Hi,

looking at The GRRF and the COB for a cemetery in Belgium, whilst at my local library yesterday.

I noticed a UBS, which had a rank, regiment but no date of death but the items found with him.  Gave enough clues, which lead to only 1 Soldier which could be clearly matched.

Whilst looking for any futher details on this Soldier, I found a website with this Soldier appearing on it, with something that matches on the COB with the photo

my dilemma is, do I contact the website to obtain a clearer photograph of the soldier and also the details of the nok who supplied the information and photo.

I dont won’t to say ive found your relative and get there hopes for the CWGC, the NAM and the JCCC to say NO.

So, should I research a little bit more and then submit my case.  Then let the CWGC and JCCC contact the family

Jamie

I have done that, just saying your following leads and perhaps they can assist your research.  Offer to share all your results with them.
