Hello,

Does anyone have the cd - 'soldier who died in the great war'

if so, could some one please look up a samuel glass, born in ireland, lived in yorkshire, but then in 1881 he lived at fulwood barracks, in fulwood, nr preston.

He was a pvt. slodier with 108th regt. who then became the royall inniskilling fusiliers

Any info on him would be great! as after 1881 i can't find him, so was just wondering if he had died in the war?!!

Thanks,

Alison

Hi Alison

You could try to find his Medal index card at http://www.documentsonline.nationalarchive...y=*&queryType=1

Im sure someone more knowledgeable will be able to help you on here.

Good luck

If he was a soldier in 1881, most likely he would be too old by 1914 to fight in WW1

Looking at 1881 Census he was born in 1861 - do you know if he married?
