41st Division yclist Corp

From a previous post I found out my G Grandad Robert Troilett 45426 started his army service in The Black Watch , he then was transferred or volunteered into the 41st division Cyclist Corp, he was then transferred into the 18thNorthumberland fusiliers. He was injured twice and with help we thought the reasons for transfers were his injuries. His records show he was in France between 8/5/16 to 4/8/16 and again between 12/12/16 to 24/8/17. What Part on the battlefield  did his regiments take part please, are there specific battles he would have been part of?
