michaeldr Posted 10 February , 2019 Share Posted 10 February , 2019 Some time ago (2012 at least) I got some useful info from this website http://www.seayourhistory.org.uk/component/option,com_rnm_homepage/Itemid,81/ Alas, today it seems to be something else entirely The info which I gleaned years ago concerned the diary of one 'Watson' of the RNAS Armoured Cars, who served with their machine guns at Jephson's Post, Suvla, Gallipoli Does anyone know where there is any info on Watson and his diary today? Or where the old Sea Your History site really is located today? Thanks for your interest Michael
seaJane Posted 10 February , 2019 Share Posted 10 February , 2019 As far as I recall it was a temporary exhibition in what was then the Royal Naval Museum (RNM), now the National Museum of the Royal Navy (NMRN) Portsmouth. I think its place has now been taken by the HMS - Hear My Story gallery. However, the staff are not taking research enquiries until the middle of next year owing to all hands being required on deck for other duties. Will send you a PM.
