Question: does the TWFM Roll identify down to battalion level? I am interested in seeing if soldiers in the 1st/5th and 2nd/5th Hampshires can be identified through the roll.

They would have had to volunteer for overseas service before the cut off qualification date (30th September 1914), but not gone in to theatre before 1916.

Thanks. I know the regs, (they'd also need to be pre-war territotials or have rejoined with 4 years' previous service): I'm doing some research into the 5th hampshires and it looks like I need now to study the roll.
