lorraine st james Posted 6 February , 2019 Share Posted 6 February , 2019 Hello looking for help here if its available. I am following a research line and just found out that my grandfather was a stoker first class, based at Chatham dockyard ? but says he has a medal. on the paper it's is printed as..... sto.1 which I take to be first class stoker..then under medal and rolls st v b s I have no idea what this means, obviously photos would be cool but best not run till I have walked, if anyone can point me or have info to complete his profile I would be very grateful.dates are roughly 1912 by his marriage certificate at age 23. all the best Lorraine. info from Roll 152 R.N
