Hi. I was looking through the Commonwealth war graves register for the Plovdiv War Cemetery in Bulgaria and saw the name Flt Lieut Charles William Greig RNAS died 12 September 1918 and I was wondering he must have been taken POW but how and where. Does anyone have any information on how he was taken prisoner. Many Thanks

Many Thanks Sea Jane for the fast reply. That is the first time I have heard of a POW shot while trying to escape from a Bulgarian POW camp.

Just good timing :)

(oops - my speedy reply, not the shooting)
