Gareth Davies Posted 23 January , 2019 Posted 23 January , 2019 (edited) J W Standing died 100 years ago today. He served in 8th Bn Tank Corps and in the War Diary and Bn history he is recorded as one of 8 men (a complete tank crew - tank 2865) who were listed as missing on 21 March 1918. I can't find his name in the ICRC list. Can some kind person please have a look for me and see if it is my rubbish search skills letting me down? Or perhaps they found him soon after? I have found the 7 other men from his tank in the ICRC records so I suspect it is either my poor search skills or a missing record. Case closed. It was my search skills at fault.
