Hello Alison

The regiment is the 108th Regiment of Foot, commonly known as the Madras Infantry. In July 1881 they united with the 27th Regiment of Foot (Inniskilling) to form the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (the 108th element becoming the 2nd Bn).

I believe Fulwood barracks is still in use, last I knew it was home to a field ambulance.

It is indeed. It is home to the Queen's Lancashire Regiment, and their fine museum.
