Guest Posted 11 January , 2019 Posted 11 January , 2019 My great grandfather drew this on the cover of his scrapbook-a book filled with pictures during his training with the pioneers. His name was Camplair (in the middle of the train) can anyone determine anything else about his unit from this? The others are pictures of artwork from his training in Schonenburg...can anyone give me direction? All of his military records were destroyed during ww2, but I have hundreds of pictures of him and his unit. I am writing a profile of him that will be on the WW1 Commission and Understanding Sacrifice for American Battle Monuments. Thanks!
