Jtobred Posted 10 January , 2019 Posted 10 January , 2019 (edited) Hi, I have obtained a copy of my great great uncles naval service record. In the sub ratings and badges column is listed L.B and what I presume to be the date 19.2.11. He was a Stoker 1st Class and was aboard the HMS Inflexible at the above date, but later was lost aboard HMS Cressy. I was wondering what this meant, any help is appreciated, thanks! horatio2 Posted 10 January , 2019 Posted 10 January , 2019 Could it be "G1B"? Granted 1 Good Conduct Badge on the date quoted.
Jtobred Posted 10 January , 2019 Author Posted 10 January , 2019 Yes!!! I think that might be the case, the G was squeezed in so looked like a fancy capital L. Thank you!
