No surviving WW1 service papers.

Enlisted 1904 as 9/3 regular but found to be underage - enlisted as Ralph Turvey (mother's married name - he was illegitimate)

Enlisted Worcs Militia Feb 1905 as Ralph Tinson (mother's maiden name). Moved into regulars on 19/1/1906 as 9751

Killed 16/12/1917.

CWGC says 10th Worcs at the time

SDGW and Stacke (regimental history) show 4th

Medal Roll shows 1 & 2 only

Buried Ribecourt SW of Cambrai

4 and 10 were not doing anything on 16/12/17

Best guess on who he was with when he was killed or died?

The effects register also states 10th

The 10th War Diary does have casualties marked on the 16th December - 2 OR's killed and 3 wounded. They had been relieved on the 15th (overnight?) and were in Brigade Reserve at Marcoing in the Hindenburg Line on the 16th. Marcoing is 4km from Ribecourt British Cemetary.
