Mickjam Posted 7 January , 2019 Share Posted 7 January , 2019 (edited) Happy new year everyone , i thought i would post picture of my Chtistmas pressie to myself ! my other Lithgow hookie was getting lonely. 1914 dated Lithgow hooked quilion , with 10411 on pomel along with 1MD [ Queensland i believe ]. Unfortunatley somebody in the past has put a slight edge on it , should i take it to a bladesmith and have it blunted again or should i leave it be? trajan Posted 7 January , 2019 Share Posted 7 January , 2019 Looks lovely Mick! Even though I don't collect these I can still admire it! As for the edge? Well, with my archaeologist hat on - leave as is. Part of its history - could have been done in the field! Have you sorted out the 1 MD marking yet?
