Guest Posted 5 January , 2019 Share Posted 5 January , 2019 Here are some pics of a fixed charge shell casing trench art vase I just found here in Arkansas, USA. The markings on the base have me stumped as to whose it was and the age. They read: 77 C.A. , M1, 2/940, CP inside a diamond. The engravings on the side are neither signed or dated. JMB1943 Posted 6 January , 2019 Share Posted 6 January , 2019 (edited) The 7.7 cm Feldkanone 96 was German field artillery piece during the GW. The SP in a diamond suggests manufactured at Spandau.
