Borrington Camp, Wool, Dorset

Can anybody tell me anything about Borrington Camp, at Wool in Dorset. I had previously thought this was a typo for Bovington but have now got multiple ref's for it.

Would appreciate any pointers.

Regards

Dave

I have never heard of it.  I have checked a couple of histories I have of Bovington and none of them mention it.  Where are you finding these references?

Have Henry Coningsby Gould (OC 2/1st Devon and Cornwall Bde Coy) at Borrington in November 1914 :

I'm reasonably sure its a typo but have been scrolling through local newspapers today and have found others ref's to Borrington.

I am going to confidently state that they are typos.

Got a confirming cross reference. It is indeed Bovington. Thanks Gareth.
