Morval Ross Posted 20 January , 2005 Share Posted 20 January , 2005 Hi Pals, I have had the pleasure of a chat with a old chap that live in my parents village. I grew up there and this chap was a bit of a recluse. However, My father asked would i drop some firewood over to this chaps house recently as he lives alone. It transpired that his uncle served and fell witht eh Royal Irish Rifles int he Salient in 1917. He has his Plaque and medals, which I am in the process of mounting for him. I was hopeing that some of the pals that have SDGW may be able to help me by printing off a colour scroll for Henry Wiseman as I would like to have it framed along with his medals for this old chap. There is not much one can do in Ireland to pay ones respects so this is the least I can do. Your help would be greatly appreciated and i will of course forward any postal or printing costs to whom ever can help me (oh, and also the price of a pint). Many thanks pals. Ross.
