307th RFA Trench Diarys help required

Hello

ive just got hold of  two large  trench diarys for 307the RFA I guess about 200  pages plus  im thinking on one defn it had carbon copys because of the blue effect they are all signed off by a Major

and one says  A/307 id like to finf a bit about who the Major is signing them and what the 307th were they run may-0ct  1916

Excellent find. Definitely connected to 307th Brigade RFA, which was 2/3rd South Midland Brigade RFA up to May 17, 1916. These notes can be compared to the War Diary which can be downloaded from here - http://discovery.nationalarchives.gov.uk/details/r/C14056134. The officers of A battery and the others should be mentioned so they should be easily identifiable.

they keep mentioning for example section F1  OR f2 I presume these relate to maps..would I be able to get a copy of this..i see from the 27th june  till july 1st they are constantly talking about whether the wire is cut..i will download the war diary's they seem to be around the neuve chapelle  sector
