Hospital Ship Assaye Admissions Registers

There is already a good thread on this ship's register for the Gallipoli campaign here.

It might help to know that FindmyPast seem to have digitised most (if not all) of this ships admissions registers for 1915-1918. They cover the Mediterranean  Gallipoli and Mesopotamia. They can be very useful for tracing a group of men from the same unit injured at the same time. From Mesopotamia the casualties were more often sickness- Dysentery, Debility and even the odd jackal bite.

A quick search suggests some 21,000 hits .
