Mark Hone Posted 1 December , 2018 Share Posted 1 December , 2018 In memory of Bury Grammar School old boy Corporal Arthur Hubert Bradley, L Signal Battalion, Royal Engineers, who died on 2nd December 1918 of broncho-pneumonia, a complication of influenza contracted while recovering in a Base Hospital from the effects of gas poisoning and wounds, aged 23. He is buried at Etaples Military Cemetery. His only sibling and fellow old boy, Private Alan Bradley, 20th Royal Fusiliers, was killed at High Wood in July 1916. Lest We Forget.
