That`s just what I wanted, David, Thanks for that -the question arose after reading true war experiences which included a doctors description of his life on the front.

Thanks again David,sadly the medical casualties do not seem to figure much in the majority of the Great War films.

Also many naval surgeons and sick berth branch, and some QARNNS, personnel lost.
