Lawryleslie Posted 28 November , 2018 Share Posted 28 November , 2018 His name is spelt Murrey on the UK Service Medal and Award Rolls 1914-18 which states he was awarded the British War and Victory Medals. However on his record in the British Army WW1 Medal Roll Index Cards 1914-1920 his name is spelt Murray with a correction to Murrey at the top of the card. On this record he is also awarded the 1914 Star with what looks like a Mons Clasp. If it is his actual medals you are searching for may I suggest posting on the British Medal Forum https://britishmedalforum.com/ You will need to register and there is a forum for looking for relatives medals.
