POW record - St Quentin, Laz Avensaz

Recommended Posts

Colin M-S

Hi,

My great great uncle Patrick Morgan was a POW at St Quentin, Laz Avensaz.  Does anybody have any  information about this POW site. It was possibly a war hospital. I'd be very interested to know if there are any photos or where the hospital was located.

kind regards

Colin

Hello,

No, he was captured at/near St. Quentin and was treated in the Kriegslazarett at Avesnes (which is Avesnes-sur-Helpe).

The document you have posted shows he was transferred from Avesnes to Mannheim.
