horatio2 Posted 25 November , 2018 Share Posted 25 November , 2018 (edited) He was entitled to the 1914 Star (without Clasp) which was issued to his widow 16 Jan 1920. She also claimed, and was issued with, his Victory and British War medals. Medal rolls ADM 171/128/153 at Kew. ADM 171/139 for the 1914 Star roll index. The CWGC incorrectly records his official number as MZ/79. His correct number is M1/79 (pre-war No.1 Company, Mersey Division RNVR).
