I was wodering how to find the medal entitlement to this R.N. Div man died as a result of the Gallipoli campaign? Think he was entitled to ta 14 trio but how do I confirm and how do I find if he was entitled to a Mons clasp?

He was entitled to the 1914 Star (without Clasp) which was issued to his widow 16 Jan 1920. She also claimed, and was issued with, his Victory and British War medals.

Medal rolls ADM 171/128/153 at Kew. ADM 171/139 for the 1914 Star roll index.

The CWGC incorrectly records his official number as MZ/79. His correct number is M1/79 (pre-war No.1 Company, Mersey Division RNVR).
