NigelS Posted 22 November , 2018 Share Posted 22 November , 2018 An article from the Woking News & Mail about the recent donation of a 1914 Surrey 'Willingly' badge, discovered in a local field by a metal detectorist, to the Surrey History Centre (SHC) Further information & another example held by the SHC Click ; a newspaper index listing from www.surreyinthegreatwar.org.uk indicates that some 4,500 were issued and that these may have been worn on an armband Click These were obviously unique to Surrey, but were similar badges available elsewhere?
