Hi

Could you give this a go ? (Black Watch)

Great work on the other pictures :D

Here is a partial colorization. I still have some bits of work to do but this is about it. I know the skirt is wrong, and I will fix it when I have more time to work on this.

Hi William,

Thank you for your extremely kind offer.

Could you have a try at these two pictures. They are cousins and had consecutive serial numbers. (806 and 807).

Unfortunately, both did not return from the war.

You can crop the second image and even combine the two into one image.

Hi William,

Love the Hindenburg image.  If you have a moment, here is a picture of my grandfather that I would love to see in colour.  He was an Australian signaller:

We have a 45 MB TIFF - this is a 350 KB JPEG.

Thanks,

Bill

I'm having quite a few troubles on working with the images currently, I am a student and finals are coming up, so most of my time is spent studying. But don't worry, when I am done, I will continue the colorizations.

Studies first, colourisation for this bunch second😁👍

Seriously, the effort you’re putting in is fantastic and is well appreciated by those on the Forum (and I don’t think anyone will disagree with me).

I am sure that your studies are more important and that if you decide at a later date to continue in displaying your skill at colour manipulation, then it should be when you are good and ready.

All the best in your up and coming finals

John

I know you are probably very busy with all of the requests, but I would love if you could do this one of my great great uncle. It would mean so much and I would love to give it in some way to my Mother for Christmas.

Kind regards,

Good luck with your studies. Well done with the photos. The results of your colouring is appreciated by a much wider group than the immediate descendants.

William Jake P,

This is a brilliant offer! Any chance that you could have a go at this one? I appreciate that it may take some time and that there will be a degree of guess work in selecting the colours?

Im sorry it took me a while, this photo was quite strange to work with, but I did the best I can.

Thanks for making this generous offer. I hope you enjoy the weekend and turkey etc. If possible could you have a look at these two for me. I really only 'need' the one of John Crook doing but I am adding the other one in case it's easier to that one (John doesn't have a hat, Wallace Holman does). Anything would be good and thanks again for the offer
