tomdocherty72 Posted 19 November , 2018 Share Posted 19 November , 2018 Hi All, My first post on the forum. This is a mystery I hope one (or more) of you can help me solve. About three years ago I bought a book on the history of the air station at the heritage centre. I took it home and added it to my pile of 'to be read sometime soon' books. Recently I finally got around to it and as I took it out of the bookcase this postcard fell out. I picked it up and was shocked to be looking at myself! The thing is the photo was taken in 1917 and I was born in 1956! I posted it up on Facebook for my relatives to see and they were all most surprised by the likeness. Does anyone with links to Montrose Air Station have any idea who this airman is? It was taken at Montrose in 1917 according to the caption on the rear of the postcard.
