I am aware of the following books which give details of the citations won by the Sappers of the Empire

1)  Anon (1983). Distinguished Conduct Medals 1914-1920 Citations of Recipients, Royal Engineers, London, The London Stamp Exchange.

2)  Recipients of the Distinguished Conduct Medal 1914-1920, Walker, R.W. (complier) Midland Medals, Birmingham, 1981.  (Australia)

3) The Distinguished Conduct Medal Awarded to Members of the Canadian Expeditionary Force 1914-1920. Mitchell, D.G., Riddle, D.K., Kirby-Marlton Press, Winnipeg, 1991.

4) The Complete New Zealand Distinguished Conduct Medal, Polaschek, A.J., Medals Research Christchurch,  Christchurch, 1983.

All the above are available in the British Library, but are there similar books for either India or South Africa?

Many thanks

Julian
