TGM Posted 8 November , 2018 Share Posted 8 November , 2018 Quite moving interview with Louise Dorr and Nicola Nash. Woman's Hour, 8.11.2018, 10:14-10:28ish Quote Many of those who lost their lives in the war are known, named and buried with full military honours, but hundreds of thousands of families don’t have a grave to visit because their relatives’ remains have never been found or identified. At the Imjin Barracks army base outside Gloucester a team works to try and identify body parts, bones or belongings as they are discovered over the years, in known battlefield sites and burial places across Europe. Louise Dorr and Nicola Nash are civilians who work at what’s called the Joint Casualty and Compassionate Centre and they talk about their work. laughton Posted 21 December , 2018 Share Posted 21 December , 2018 Thanks for that, particularly for us on the far west side of the pond who would not know about the show. For others, click the timeline to start the piece at 11:11 - a highly appropriate but coincidental time in the interview session! It plays to 20:19.
