I've just watched this,  I think it's one of the best of the batch of new programming for the centenary.

Yes, another one watched on iplayer. I thought it was very fine and interesting.

 

I even found it interesting that Lutyens's office was in Queen's Gate where, I think, the Imperial War Museum offices also might have been around the same time.

 

I think I remember reading some correspondence from Sykes, the Keeper of Photographs, when he was beginning to assemble the archive "Bond of sacrifice". Also an interesting topic for a programme? After all - that's how the IWM began to establish their superb collection.
