Remembered Today:

Possible signalling device, coastal fort battery

I have been asked to see if the rusty items found in a coastal fort have anything to do with signalling or for another purpose perhaps?

I have no idea what these bits are. They are located on the highest point in the fort. Can you suggest what they are please?

Thanks you most kindly for anything you can do.

Tom.

Look like anchor points to stop any mast moving  in the wind.

Light antenna can be free standing but bigger ones need to be secure especially when wire run about for different frequencies etc there can a lot of weight up in the air.
