Sheaff Posted 5 November , 2018 Share Posted 5 November , 2018 I have a silver medal from my grandfather - one side is inscribed "3 Army Rest Camp, 18.9.18 to 1.10.18, France" and on the other side it has "football" and my grandfather's name etc (he was a 2/Lt with the Northumberland Fusiliers at the time) - there's no paperwork associated with it, and I've searched online but haven't found anything relating to sports medals awarded at rest camps, so I'd be very grateful to hear if anyone knows anything about this.
