Remembered Today:

VICKERS FUZE

gig

Recommended Posts

I got a PM from Gig, with a question (that he wanted to buy a fuze a photo of which I posted a while ago - and it was not mine). I replied and now wonder : Will Gig reply to my reply? Gig, where are you, and who are you?

Aurel

P.S. I think in this posting Gig just wants to obtain (buy) a Vicker's fuze from somewhere. Am I right, Gig?

Good morning,  excuse me for the late, I study Olivetti and he produced during WW1 a fuze

for the Vichers in England. I'm an Olivetti's collector and I'm trying this kind of fuze. It was

produced in 1915-18 in Ivrea for Vickers for antiaircraft. It present logo "ICO".  (see attached image)

I would buy it.. regards

That is a No121 fuse, used on the 2 pounder shell. Not an easy or cheap item to come by.
