bonzillou Posted 26 October , 2018 Share Posted 26 October , 2018 hello I'm currently writing a text about the battle of Mons to be used in classroom. The text will be printed and I need a high (or good) resolution of a map of the Mons area, particularly the "salient" (the Nimy to Obourg zone). I've already found this one which is good for the whole Mons area but becomes blurry when focusing on the area I'm interested in. Thanks a lot. Interested Posted 26 October , 2018 Share Posted 26 October , 2018 The National Library of Scotland https://maps.nls.uk/ has the facility to zoom in on Great War maps. I haven't looked for the ones you want, but worth a try, I think.
Howard Posted 26 October , 2018 Share Posted 26 October , 2018 (edited) Here are three maps from 1918 and a composite map probably also 1918. I just added a one with a 1915 basemap but with markup of unknown date. It is from the Body Density series so has details of cemeteries etc, that markup could be post-war. Hope they are what you need. Howard Edited 26 October , 2018 by Howard Added map, twice
