RaySearching Posted 24 October , 2018 Share Posted 24 October , 2018 A young boy aged 14/15 enlists into the army, He is posted to France with his unit He serves 4 days in France before his true age is revealed, He is sent home and discharged from the army as being underage and having made a miss-statement on attestation form Would he be entitled to at least the pair ? ,would he have received them ? or would they have been forfeited as he had committed an offence (having made a miss-statement on his attestation paper ? rolt968 Posted 24 October , 2018 Share Posted 24 October , 2018 Only my opinion, but I would expect that he would get his entitlement. On a slightly different point, I wonder if the powers that be would manage to keep track of the record for his earlier service and associate it with him if he rejoined at the correct age.
