jnewbs Posted 23 October , 2018 Share Posted 23 October , 2018 Hi, Am currently looking into the person listed in the bottom row of the attached photo. Could anyone help me interpret the acronym in the 'transfer' column? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, The Information in the Army Book 358 held by the RMP Museum repeats this, but also gives a little more information. He transferred into the MMP, but this is crossed out and replaced with MFP (Military Foot Police). Awarded the 1914-15 Star, War and Victory, he served in France in 1915, and then Salonika 1015 to 1919. After his transfer, he served as part of BAOR - his first child was born in Cologne in 1924. He was discharged as a Corporal with exemplary conduct on 16th April 1937. Any additional information would be welcome.
