trajan Posted 18 October , 2018 Share Posted 18 October , 2018 JAC marked HQ's are not that common - never seen one in the flesh myself: but hopefully someone can say more. Looks better, though, than the other HQ recently discussed, my only quibble here being the - to me odd-looking screw head. Markings for 4th Royal Fusiliers, I think. RGJDEE Posted 19 October , 2018 Author Share Posted 19 October , 2018 Thanks for your thoughts Trajan, following your observations of the screw head ( I presume the ring ) I checked all my P 1907 s and found similar rings on some when viewed under the magnifying glass. R would agree with 4th Royal Fusiliers.

Oh!, Never looked at any P.1907's that closely before! Have you seen the JAC posted here? - https://www.greatwarforum.org/topic/265783-another-1910-nz-p1907/
