seaJane Posted 13 October , 2018 Share Posted 13 October , 2018 Anyone know a good hotel with wheelchair access in Lille?
Ron Clifton Posted 13 October , 2018 Share Posted 13 October , 2018 Hello Jane There are quite a few hotels with four or five stars in this list: https://www.kayak.co.uk/hotels/Lomme%2CNO%2CFrance-c45465/2018-10-20/2018-10-21/2adults?lang=en&skipapp=true&contextualSearch=true&sort=rank_a I stayed at the Mercure some years ago, and I would expect the Best Western to have wheelchair access. Good luck! Ron

seaJane Posted 13 October , 2018 Author Share Posted 13 October , 2018 (edited) Booked into the Mercure Lille Centre Grand Place for the 9 Nov. Now to see if we can get in to Hotel Cathedrale Tournai with Rob's cousins... (making the trip at the same time, although they hadn't told us!) [update] In the same hotel. Rail tickets already booked. Now to find out how to hire a car in Lille.... [even upper update] Car hired online via Europcar Lille Eurostar. Practising my French with the chat staff has been fun. Interested Posted 13 October , 2018 Share Posted 13 October , 2018 Don't forget to show your Accor A-Club card at reception; Mercure are part of the same group and you can get points; And you know what points mean......

sassenach Posted 14 October , 2018 Share Posted 14 October , 2018 When you booked did you sign up as a "member?" It's free and you seem to get 10 per cent off straightaway.
