Thomas Woodgate RMS Leinster

Remembering Thomas Joseph Woodgate who was just aged 14, trainee pilot who died when the RMS Leinster was torpedoed and sunk 100 years ago today after leaving Dun Laoghaire for Holyhead with the loss of 501 lives. He was from Callan in County Kilkenny Ireland. He is buried in Grangegorman Military Cemetery Dublin and remembered on the Kilkenny World War 1 Memorial.
