11th Royal West Kent's

Remembering Today the Officers and Men of the 11th (Lewisham) Battalion, Royal West Kent Regiment who suffered heavy losses between the 4th and 7th October 1916.

 

Amongst the Fallen was Private John Herbert Walton G/10959 a 19 year old Kitchen Porter from the Old Kent Road, London who lies at rest at Warlencourt British Cemetery on the Somme.
