Remembered Today:

Loco Atax - meaning

Recommended Posts

"Loco Atax" appears in the Silver War Badge roll for a soldier being Discharged from the Class W Reserve under "KRs 392 XXVA Loco Atax." The KR is "surplus to military requirements not having suffered impairment since entry into the service"

I know that "Loco" means "instead of". but "Atax" has defeated me. Help would be appreciated.
