Malcolm12hl Posted 24 September , 2018 Share Posted 24 September , 2018 Can anybody direct me to an online copy of Military Operations, France and Belgium, 1917, Vol.2? As far as I can see the archive.org site does not have this volume, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. I would be grateful for any guidance. Skipman Posted 24 September , 2018 Share Posted 24 September , 2018 (edited) I think so far only Vol I and the appendices 1917 have been uploaded. I very recently contacted them and asked when the other volumes might be uploaded and received this reply Thanks for contacting us. We cannot predict when or if specific materials will be added. Thanks for using archive.org Mike Edited 24 September , 2018 by Skipman

MaureenE Posted 24 September , 2018 Share Posted 24 September , 2018 I can see a version full view on HathiTrust, stated to be in copyright in USA, but perhaps you can see it in the UK. 1917 Volume II 7th June-10th November Messines and Third Ypres (Passchendaele) published 1948. HathiTrust Digital Library. Cheers Maureen

MaureenE Posted 24 September , 2018 Share Posted 24 September , 2018 At least some of the volumes, perhaps all, are available on the pay website fold3, part of Ancestry, which has an entry Military Operations France & Belgium https://www.fold3.com/browse/251/hTGb85NZ84WXU8hdLDbb5xIEV Total page 9421, so multiple volumes. Skipman Posted 3 October , 2018 Share Posted 3 October , 2018 Thanks Maureene. Do you know if it's possible to copy and paste these versions? Mike
MaureenE Posted 4 October , 2018 Share Posted 4 October , 2018 (edited) I don't know whether you can copy and paste. If not, I believe it is possible to download individual pages. Perhaps you could then use an OCR program. If you had the patience, you could download the entire book. Someone on another Forum said "I read the terms and conditions and it seems if I accidentally "shared" a page or more of a book I downloaded, I could be in trouble. Unless someone knows differently."
