Moonraker Posted 22 September , 2018 Share Posted 22 September , 2018 I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before: Report of a study of First World War sites in north-west Wales. This report describes the results of a study, carried out by Gwynedd Archaeological Trust, of First World War sites in north-west Wales coming under the theme of “infrastructure and support”. It focuses on military and auxiliary hospitals but also looks at activities that local people took to help the war effort. This includes efforts to increase food production and forestry, and the use of existing buildings to accommodate soldiers during training. Ninety-three sites are identified.
