Hi all,

The Mayor of Walsall is holding an event at the Town Hall in the afternoon of November 11th. Whilst it is remembrance of all wars, there is clearly an emphasis on the Great War.

The Mayor is looking for people to have stalls who have collections to display. This could be photographs, artefacts etc. Unfortunately I sold my collection to pay for my divorce but I am displaying battlefield photographs and I have been over to take 360 Virtual Reality photos this summer so there will be a VR booth. He is also interested in the role of women and local industry.

If anyone is interested in supporting this event from the area, please let me know. I have written to Graeme and Sue as the two local experts I know of.

For those not familiar with the town hall, it has two massive WWI paintings showing the attacks at Loos and the St Quentin Canal.

Thank you,

Michael on behalf of the Mayor of Walsall.
