paullaw1155 Posted 13 January , 2005 Share Posted 13 January , 2005 I was bought the penguin book of warpoems but found i could not relate to most of the them i.e could not always understand them. I ordered one from The War Resarch Society titled An Anthology of Poetry. It is made up of the thoughts of people who have visited the battlefield and put them into poetry. It is pamphlet type book of 50 pages and while it will never be used for GCE/ A level English the poems all have a lot of meaning to anyone who has visited the battlefields.
