Madmeg Posted 22 September , 2018 Share Posted 22 September , 2018 Not being any good at identifying badges and having to rely on everyone else- but I have to confess my first thought on seeing it were that it was an AIF rising sun (which is one of the few I know) . I sugggested the RFA because if it is distorted and blurred I think that could be likely- but I do agree with the comment above re everything else is in clear focus so the badge is probably pretty accurate. I think that the overall shape and dimensions of the badge as a proportion of the cap are relatively clear Meg, and yet despite observing and researching such insignia for over 45 years now (as no doubt have some other posters), I don’t recognise it at all.
