At a glance it looks like it has been abused and used to hammer off nuts (from who knows what) resulting in the jaws being rounded off to a degree?

Hi Aranxta,

I'm sure David is correct and that the spanner has been altered;  indeed, it looks to me as if it has been made larger by filing?  I have had a look at "Grenade" by Rick Landers at page 62 and there is mention of a "wrench" being provided to remove the striker assembly to enable the detonator to be fitted.

By the way, it looks as though you have a very nice collection.

Regards,

Michael.
