petwes Posted 1 September , 2018 Share Posted 1 September , 2018 I am planning a trip in October and am hoping to follow in the footsteps of some of my Ancestors. 8th Battalion Devonshire Regiment are recorded as being in WHITE TRENCH on 19th July. It was near Bazentin. I wonder if anyone could help with its location please? Peter
petwes Posted 1 September , 2018 Author Share Posted 1 September , 2018 I think I have partly answered my own question but I can't decipher the last word in this entry. S25 is a fairly vague area; it would be nice to have a slightly more precise location! Peter
