Shell-shock clinic at 78 Lancaster Gate, London

Recommended Posts

I am trying to put together some details on the Special Medical Board for Neurasthenics, at 78 Lancaster Gate, London, which seems also referred to as or was closely connected with the London Neurological Clinic otherwise known as the Lancaster Gate Clinic of Psychotherapy.  This was operating assessing and treating 'shell-shock' cases from at least October 1917 through to the early to mid 1920s under the auspices of the Ministry for Pensions. Can anyone point me to ideally archival material or other good sources on the clinic, its staffing, etc?

Thanks

Roger

Has anybody any leads on this question? (I realise its a bit obscure and I've not had much success myself with the search)
