Remembered Today:

Out on the Pop

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I've found a few relatives that were based in Ypres and the surrounding areas and I'm fairly sure they would have "gone on the pop" in Poperinge.

I quite like the idea of following in their footsteps and was wondering if there's any cafe's or bars there that would have been there at the time that you can go to now and have something to eat or drink in?

Thanks a lot,

Michael

There's one in the market square called "De Banke" or something similar. I believe that the proprietors come from Suffolk.

Thanks Ron,

I think we're going to have a cuppa at Talbot House as well but I like the idea of going into town as well.
