Manipled Mutineer Posted 13 August , 2018 Share Posted 13 August , 2018 All, I have come across a reference in the service records of a man in the 2/7th Royal Warwickshires to him being located at/attached to "17th Corps Inter Coll Station". This took place in late September to early October 1919, after he was posted to Details Battalion and shortly before being sent to the UK for demobilisation. Can anyone shed light on what the full name of this establishment would be, what it was for and possibly where it was? I can't seem to find a trace online and the only references to "Collecting Stations" I find in WW1 are either for walking wounded or for enemy PoWs prior to being sent to camps, El neither of which seem terribly apposite to the situation. Any advice much appreciated, as ever.
